Lenten Devotions and Breakfast:
This will start March 9 and run for six weeks ending April 13, Palm Sunday weekend. We will start at 8 a.m. and be done by about 9 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. There will be no cost to attend but an offering to offset costs will be taken.
We will use Max Lucado’s study “He Chose the Nails”. Every gift from God reveals his love, but no gift reveals his love more than the gifts of the cross. These gifts came not wrapped in paper but in passion, They were not placed around a tree but around a cross. They were not covered with ribbons but sprinkled with the blood that Christ shed on our behalf. Lucado explores the many gifts that Christ provided to us at his crucifixion.

New Sunday School class course to begin…
The EGGS Class will start a new course of study on April 28. We will use Rick Warren’s book
God’s Answers to Life’s Difficult Questions.
Warren takes us inside the Scriptures to see what they reveal about twelve of the most pressing
questions people ask. They are questions we have either asked or most likely will ask, questions
like: How can I cope with stress? How can I rebound from failure? How can I defeat depression? How can I have peace of mind? The book provides simple straightforward answers we
can begin to apply right away to move past our sticking points and enjoy a life of purpose, peace
and significance. Anyone looking for a Sunday School class is welcome to join us in the Scout
room. Contact class leader Bob Weaver with questions.
